Summer Camp
Stonecrest Farm offers day-campers the chance to have the complete horse or pony experience. Days are organized to give children hands-on horse care, stable activities and hunt-seat riding lessons.
Daily riding is a favorite part of each camper's experience. Children receive individualized instruction aimed at their ability level, and also participate in group rides and games where they learn by watching and helping others. Each camper rides an appropriately-sized horse or pony and is carefully supervised by a qualified and patient instructor.
The remainder of the day is spent learning about and enjoying the horses and ponies. We utilize a variety of hands-on activities to teach campers the joys of horsemanship. The week's activities end with a "horse show" designed to allow the children to share their experience with family and friends.
